The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom

I like reading, but I don't read a lot unlike my friends. until I met Mitch Albom the author of numerous novels such the famous Tuesdays with Morrie, Five People You Meet in Heaven, Have a Little Faith and my favorite The Time Keeper (Which I already read).

The Time Keeper leave me breathless. I mean this novel of Mitch is amazing. It tells the story of three different people. Dor the time god or the father time who came to the present time of Sarah Lemon- an ordinary student and Victor Delmonte a billionaire and businessman. The story is about these people, on wants time to 'fly', the other wants time to 'stop' and the other wants the time to 'come back'.

Sarah Lemons wants time to fly. She feels like the time is so slow for her, that time is a barrier of all she wants and about to do. She is a smart high school student who fell in love with a boy named Ethan. By then, she feel like her time flies whenever he's around. 

Victor Delmonte want time to stop. Despite of being a successful businessman and being a billionaire, still he can't stop time. He spent his time running huge corporations and counting money, he treats all people around him as his employee even Grace- his wife, until he was diagnosed of having a cancer. then he tought, time must stop.

Dor, use his time wisely buy counting it. he's the father time. Using pebbles, sticks, stones, water sunlight and more he count the time. he's our oldest time counter. But he was cast on a cave to learn and help Sarah and Victor about time. Dor has a wife and three children whom he love the most. But time passed and the challenges came so he and his wife need to isolate themselves, away from their children and relatives. Then his wife got a disease, by then he wish time to stop.

Now, I love reading books even more with Mitch's works.

With The Time Keeper, I learned that we can't keep time, we can't even stop, fly or bring it back but we must use its every moment wisely- with no regrets.

"What time is it?" becomes one of the world's most common questions, found on page one of every foreign language instruction book.

"What time is it?"

"Qué hora es?"

"Skol'ko syechas vryemyení?"
